Round 2: Marshall

It's now time to go back to the Marshall household. When we left Kelley had just left for work and Alice was waiting for the school bus with the Nanny watching her for the one hour her mother would be at work.

Alice: The bus is here, better get going. By Nanny that was only here for one hour.

Nanny Calista Despret: Oh, Alice you're going to school now? I'll take my pay and leave then. Have a good day. *takes $41 and leaves*

Oh, dear. So what will it be Kelley?
Kelley: If I was the boss I would hate to have an employee lose on purpose just so I could win. I think I'll lay down the bingo.

Kelley: A promotion form winning Bingo? For real? Awesome!
I've never heard of such a thing happening, but I'm happy for you.

Kelley: I was sent home early with a promotion, so I decided to go back to work straight away as I still had several hours of work left.

Good for you Alice!

Again? Didn't you just get one of these?
Kelley: I think it's best to not say anything, in case I stick my foot in my mouth and the painting is by the bosses kid or something.

That's good. Sometimes honesty ISN'T the best policy after all. Not when it comes to someones taste in art.

 Alice: I got an A+!
Congratulations Alice!
Alice: Oh, mom! Your home! I got an A+, look!
Kelley: Oh, I'm so proud of you! You work so hard at school don't you!

Alice: Now it's time to play some computer games, then once I'm in a better mood I can do homework.

Alice: Hi, Lisa? Oh I heard you are in High school now. My birthday is in a few days so I'll be joining you soon. Yeah. Okay, I look forward to seeing you.

Kelley: I know you your birthday is in a few days. Is there anything you want other then clothes for when you grow up?
Alice: I want a new game.
Kelley: Okay. I'll give you some money when the time comes.

Alice: Playing some Sims 3 before school on Wednesday.

Well, what will it be? I have no idea what the best choice is myself.
Kelley: I think calling in the heavy machinery.

Kelley: Seems the vehicles were busy with construction and no one told me before three hours were wasted. I lost a days pay for all that wasted time and not getting the work done.
Drat! Well it's better then being demoted or losing your job, or losing a skill point.

Kelley: Ironically I was promoted to Head of the Construction Company even with that mistake. I was indeed paid for my promotion so no pay was cut for the day.
Well that is very good. Congratulations for the promotion and getting out of having the days pay cut.

Alice: Welcome home mom!
Kelley: You just got home yourself sweetheart.
Alice: I know, but I'm so happy to see you home from work I wanted to give you a hug.

Alice plays computer games and Kelley paints.

Kelley finished her painting and started another, while Alice decides to play some chess.

It's now Alice's birthday, but she is going to make sure her homework is done before she grows up.

While she was getting her homework done Kelley finished another painting.

Alice goes to the cake, but Kelley is so tired she already went to bed, or she would have been celebrating.
Alice: I understand, mom got up early and I did wait to grow up. It's rather late and I'm tired myself.

Alice grew up well, the best she could get. Congratulations on growing up so well Alice, now what is your life aspiration going to be?
Alice: I want Fortune. like Mom!
Well I suppose like mother, like daughter.

Alice: I don't like this outfit, so after I woke up I took the money mom left out for me for my clothes and the extra for the game, bought some new clothes and picked out a game I wanted aas a birthday present.
Alice: I got My Sims. I changed my clothes and then started playing my new game, the bus will be here soon, but I'm so in need of fun right now. I'll look for a job after school.
Speaking of Job, is there anything particular you want to do with your life?

Alice: Now that you ask, yes. I want to become a City Planner.
Wow, that means you will have the same career as your mother. I guess it really is 'like mother, like daughter.'
Alice: That's the way I want it to be.

Kelley: Hi Allyn, I just needed someone to talk to. Alice just grew into a teen and I found out she wants to be in the same career as I am, I'm so proud of her!
Allyn Thomason: Well I'm glad you called Kelley. I've wanted to talk to you for awhile.
Kelley: I don't have long to talk, the carpool will be here soon.
Allyn: I understand.

Oh, well I think Scientific facts may be better when it comes to grades.
Alice: I think you might be right.

Alice: Yep, Scientific facts are better. I'm glad I didn't mess that up.

Alice: I checked for a job as a Cement Mixer in the Architecture career track, but no luck yet.

Alice: Hi, Lisa? Yeah I saw you in the hall. Today was my first day of high school. Yeah, it was grate.

Kelley: I have been promoted to Architect's Apprentice!
Congratulations on the promotion Kelley!

Alice: I'm in such a good mood. I can do my homework without much effort. Hmm, I wonder if I should get a different desk ornament? That big teddy was fine when I was a child, but now that I'm a teen I need something that doesn't say 'this is the room of a child.' I should get the walls redone as well. They are the same from when I was a toddler.

Alice: Friday morning I decided to check for jobs before school. I was in luck this time. I found a job as a Cement Mixer in the architect teen career track.

Kelley and Alice both decided it was time to get a TV, couch and coffee table.

Kelley: I've been promoted to Draftsman!
Congratulations Kelley!

Alice: I've been promoted to Brick layer, only one more promotion and I'll be at the top of my teen career and an Overachiever.

Alice: I also brought home David Weldon who is a Foreman, home from work. He is one of Lisa's older brothers and in the class ahead of me at school.

Alice: Well it is nice to get to know one of Lisa's brothers. I'd like to meet Jason sometime as well. Lisa is a good friend of mine that I've known since Elementary school, even if she is a little older then I am.
David: I know Lisa appreciates your friendship and I'm sure Jason would like to meet you, you have some things in common as well.

Kelley: Well I wasn't trying to, but I got a membership for the gamers hobby lot. I was just trying to work on logic skill points. I doubt I will ever use this membership as I have no real interest in the games hobby..

Alice: It's Saturday, so I decided to play some My Sims after I got up.

Alice: Mom stayed up all night, before she gose to bed she has to talk to someone or she will go mad from not having any social interactions. While she was talking I was playing chess to improve my logic skill. I maxed my enthusiasm for the games hobby and was given a special plaque.

Just after you left for work too!
Alice: Well, if I chose wrong either way I get a demotion, so I'll just add more bricks.

Good choice! It's hard to make a decision when the wrong choice leads to a demotion no mater what.

Alice: I was promoted to Foreman and am now at the top of my teen career. I have also become an overachiever. Mom is happy because she wanted me to be an overachiever.
Congratulations on the promotion and becoming an overachiever!

Alice: I decided that I should focus on Mechanical, Logic and Creativity from now on so I can get scholarships in those areas when it's time for college. That will also better prepare me for when I get a job in Architecture as an adult.

Kelley: Another painting done!

Sunday Alice decided to call David.

Alice: We got another easel so mom and I can paint at the same time.

Kelley: I painted a (still life) painting of Alice while she was reading that mechanical text book and Alice finished a painting as well.

Alice: I'm so happy to have reached the top of the teen career track, but I can't wait until I'm an adult so I can be promoted to something more then foreman.
Kelley: Once you graduate college I'm sure you will start in a higher position.
Alice: True, especily if I major in something that goes well with Architecture.

Alice seems to have gotten a membership for the arts and craft hobby lot, but by the time this guy came to the house she was already asleep.

Monday morning and Alice is once again 'in the zone' while playing a computer game before the school bus comes and her mother has to leave for work.

We leave the Marshall household with Alice playing a computer game while 'in the zone' and Kelley leaving for work. Now it's time to go back to the Weldon household.
